project - 3nd day in ZHO
12/16 Hours - 30/04/2014
In the third day in ZHO, we surprised to see Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed visiting ZHO but unfortunately we didn’t meet him personally. After that, we
had an interesting program in a new workshop. It was the carpentry workshop and
we start our work by helping the students to finish their work. Also, we
educated them some proper ways to cut equal parts of wood, fitting the screws
in the proper place, and choosing the suitable screw for each object. Despite this,
carpentry workshop students are very kind and funny. They like to make you
smile hole of the time and they love their instructor very much and respect
him.

project - 2nd day in ZHO
THE SECOND DAY IN Z.H.O.
8/16 Hours - 27/04/2014
In the second day at ZHO, we had an interesting program. At
the beginning of the day, we had a football match versus ZHO team. It was an
interesting match and we end with score of 7-7. After that, we went to the wood
workshop to see what they are doing. Then, we went to the welding workshop and
we started the hard work there. We cooperate with the instructor and the students
to organize the equipment and the tools in the workshop. Also, we separated a
big amount of mixed nuts, plus sign screws, minus sign screws, and bolts and we
put every type of them in different boxes to make the workshop well organized
and look tidy and clean. At the end of the day, we made a birthday party for
our creative student who is Salem ALbolooshi and we ate some cake and we shared
it with our handicap friends in the workshop.

project - 1st day in ZHO
THE FIRST DAY IN Z.H.O.
4/16 Hours - 20/04/2014
In the first day of our
volunteering work, we met Ms. Fatima ALhameli which is the supervisor of
students who come from collages to volunteer in ZHO. She is very helpful woman
and cooperative. Then we went to the auditorium to get the instructions and
warning in working and communicating with some groups of handicaps. After that, we met Mr. Rajaa who is the
supervisor of the workshops in the organization. He reminds us of the important
safety rules inside the workshops. Then we went to many workshops like the
electronic workshop. It is one of the most interesting workshops and Mr. Rajaa
explained to us the goal of this workshop and we looked at some works of the handicap
students. Also, he showed us a project that they are working on it in these
days which is recycling light bulbs and make it usable without spending money
on buying new light bulbs. Also, we went to the wood workshop and all other
workshops with Mr. Rajaa and he showed us how do they work and he also showed
us the achievements of handicaps who work in workshops. It was really
wonderful. Finally, every one of us should choose a workshop to work on it the
next days and I choose wood workshop because I like these manual types of
workshops. That was our first day in ZHO.
