Volunteering make us learn many new things that changes our
mind about special needs people.
First of all, we gained a lot of experience and learn more about special needs people Zayed Higher Organization in Abu Dhabi that takes care about special needs people and try to diagnose every situation of special needs people and try to make them creative and educate them fundamental things that can be useful for them in their life.
Despite that, we had an interesting time
we had a volunteering program at ZHO. Also, we learn useful things from
handicap people. For example, special needs people have a kind behaviour and
they don't like to hurt anyone. They like to do their work totally
and they don't like anybody to do their own work.
In the other hand, some of them
are talented and very creative so when see them do some talents that they have,
you can't tell that he is a handicap. For example, we played football match
with ZHO students and it was a funny and interesting match. But one thing that
make us wonder which that one of special needs students is a professional
player like club players. We couldn't take the football from him, he was fast
and has a good fitness that helps him to play professionally.
Secondly, volunteering
program changed my mind about special needs people. They are part
from our society and we should give them chance to be creative and we should
communicate with a good behaviour and give them chance to tell anything that
they feel.
Also, we learned from them how to be patient by feeling that we have
a good health and we not suffering from anything in our body, so we should
thank god for everything that he gave us. Furthermore, volunteering
program motivates me to an active volunteer by going any community service
organization and start to be a part of society by doing activities that are
useful for the society and try be a successful man.
Finally, I am thinking to do
some new activities and programs for special needs people to higher their
performance in doing their work and also to improve themselves in communicating
with society members.
